More than four years in technical SEO

Four years, three companies, one recurring finding: what blocks visibility is almost never the text on the page.

The story

Philosophy → bookshop → production → technical SEO

How I got here

I studied philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, which sounds like a detour on the way to server logs. It is not. The job comes down to the same thing: separating what people claim from what the data shows, then making a decision I can defend.

At Finixio I started as a junior, freelance, running technical tasks to other people’s specifications: canonicals, redirects and hreflang on the WordPress backend. That is where I saw what an audit looks like from the implementer’s side, and why a vaguely written recommendation never reaches production.

At Clickout Media the scope grew: more sites, more markets, hreflang structures and indexation in a task-driven environment with SEO and dev teams. Today I am Technical SEO Executive at Nexplay Media, where I run technical SEO across a portfolio of more than twenty WordPress sites in the crypto and iGaming verticals.

Alongside that I run my own projects, B2B eCommerce and content sites, where I carry the whole job: diagnostics, implementation, on-page and backlink profile analysis. That is why I can talk to the owner of a small site and to a dev team of ten alike.

I use tools daily, including AI, for analysing crawl and log reports and prioritising tasks, with a manual check on everything that goes further. AI speeds up reading the data; it does not take over the decision or the responsibility.

Data before opinions

Logs and crawl data show what Googlebot does. Assumptions come after that, if at all.

Prioritising is part of the job

Eighty findings in no order is not an audit. Ranking them by impact and effort is what you are paying for.

Implemented or not

A recommendation sitting in a ticket is worth nothing. So I write tasks a dev team can execute, and verify them.

Honest, even when it does not suit me

If the problem is not technical, or I am not the right person for it, better you hear that from me on the first call.
